I prescribe both licensed and compounded bio/body identical HRTMany patients are not aware that their Bio/body identical HRT can be prescribed on the NHS. Medications such as elleste solo, estradiol patches and Oestrogel along with Utrogestan can be prescribed on the NHS. Testosterone is currently not licensed so that can depend on your GP.
The government also recently brought out an HRT prescription prepayment certificate (HRT PPC) which costs about £19.30 for 12 months.
